You will find that if you explain yourself to the other person you will notice that you will have a better understanding. When it comes to understanding you will be able to benefit greatly. You will be able to get them to see your point of view and you'll be able to see theirs. You will be able to get along for the sake that you understand each other. When the manager steps in they will take control of the situation as they see fit. They will not be happy to deal with something so petty, and they will let you know. It is best if you are able to fix the problem yourself. Be honest with each other and let it be known that you would like to get along, you just need to know how to. This is a very honest way to go and it can help you to save your heartache at work.
